No Network access

hey,
whenever i try to wirelessly connect to the internet from my PC all it says is "No Network access". im able to connect via Ethernet and have tried 3 different wireless adapters all having the same outcome, I'm on Windows 7 ultimate, and im fairly sure its nothing to do with the router as other machines in the house can connect to it wrielessly just fine.

thanks in advance for any help

Welcome tal. Could you give use a little more information about your wireless network.
Are you on a desktop or a laptop?
The next question has the wireless worked on any other network?
Is the wifi on in the laptop?
Even though you don't think it is the router I think it could be. What model?
Can you make a copy of your network setup like my picture below.

Thanks.

I would find out your network adapter (ie. marvell or whatnot) via device manager and make sure that it shows your wireless adapter in there. If it does you may need to change some network settings. If it does not show the wireless driver you will need to install it. It is recommended to get the driver from the manufactures site.

It might have to do with that router.

See my little problem I had last week. I ended up getting a new router.

New Laptop can't connect to WRT54GS

Also, search for your router and adapters here. I think there'a a compatibility problem.

I know there are people who disagree, but it's the only solution I found. See what the compatibility says about your newtwork hardware adn make sure to look at the 32 AND 64 bit compatibility.

Someone mentioned that they had to uninstall all the BTHomehub software to get it working again.

I installed BT Home Hub 2 today (the box has been waiting for me for months). Everything went well with our desktop which is hardwired to the hub and with a new Dell laptop - wireless, but I can't get the old Dell laptop - also wireless - to access the internet. The signal strength is "Excellent" but it just won't access the internet; it used to work fine with the old BT hub.

Any ideas?

Not impressed with BT software or their help line but the hub works fine now.
