    since your running an internet cafe do yourself a favor and get a hold of a Linksys WRT54GL from newegg.com and flash it with DD-WRT firmware you will have a much better router

    If your working at an internet cafe ... don't you got like an IT guy to do this work for you *lol*


    D-Link DGL is the way to go since it knows how to use the QoS.


    We need to know the following:

    The Router's Make and Model:
    Routers Firmware, just log into the router and check the status page.

    Is this computer running Windows 7 32 or 64 bit

    Go into the computers Device Manager and grab us the make and model of the card you are using and the date and type of drivers you are using for that card as well.

    hmm lets see... this should cleare you up on a few questions

    my modem = "PLDT Siemens Gigaset SE 260 dsl" my switch = "D-link DES-1024D"
    yeah i think your right AEM its really not healthy if i need to pull it out everytime! my modem to my server and then server to my switch and then switch to other computers ... i have 15 units Computersplus ... 7 windows Vista and 8 windows 7 ... all my vista units are not experiencing this kind of problem ... but all my win7 pcs always encounter this kind of problem ... and by the way my server is XP hahahaha ... im really sorry!!! thank you for your time and effort!!!

    @acurasd im the owner of this internet cafe ... and i think i dont have enough budget to pay an IT if i can learn it myself by your help guys!! isn't that exciting!! less expence and more learnings!!! thats why im really really thankful to work with you guys!!!

    on the windows 7 machines go into the adapter properties and turn off power saving for the adapter and see if that helps this issue (sorry if I've already suggested this)
