    Frostmourne which model from Conexant are you recommending. I looked quickly on their site and it sounds like they don't sell to consumers . Which model is windows 7 64 bit compliant ?

    They all should work by default - and Windows Update will give you a new driver. Also bought the same one for Vista x86 - had to use the cd there, but for 7, just buy one that is 56Kb/s.

    You do have a spare PCI slot, right? Anyway, buy it, take it out of the ESD bag, touch an unpainted metal surface such as your expansion slots, put it in, screw it into place. PC on, wait a sec, run Windows Update. Post back your results.

    I'll have to wait until I get my motherboard . If any other hardware recommendations are out there I would like to here them.

    If you are building a new system and don't play games $US 500 should be enough.
