On Windows 7, is that possible to add new libraries for such as music, photos or video from remote drive?

Remote drive? Like a USB drive? If so, yes. I've done it...

Yes - you right click on the folder(s) on the external disk and say "Include in Library" - then it gives you choices of libraries where you can pick one.

I think he might be talking about networked shares in which case there are some workarounds that allow this to happen.

If the drive is already mapped then you can do it from My Computer.

The location of the Libraries folder are in c:\Users\<name>. If you want to add file to these folders, wouldn't you copy and paste files to and from there. Doesn't matter where your incoming files are, it's just a matter of file transferring. I'm i missing the point here?

I don't think you need to transfer files, you just need to include that location to the library you want to add it to.
That's how I set mine up and when you open one it will tell you how many locations are included.
