always remember when having connection issues instead of doing a complete reset as chev65 suggested first try a simple reset of all of your equipment shut off all PC's unplug power to modem and router then plug power back into the modem first let it set a couple minutes in order for it to resync then plug power back into router give it a minute or two then start up your PC's

another thing is more and more printers are now wireless I have had clients trying to connect to their wireless printer for internet lol so if you have one you might try turning it off for a test as well

hmm I appreciate your suggestions. My Dell seems to be working fine with the settings I have right now.

I took the encryption off and the connections seems to working now. I am going to give it another 20 mins to see if it is helping. I had it set to WSP-PSA, I think, before I removed it.

encryption can be a factor I have found over the years that WEP yields the least trouble in that regard

ok the connection seems to be ok now that I removed the encryption. I am going to set it to WEP to see if that works.

    Thanks!

ok I am still having problems but not as bad, lol.

Could you suggest any bandwith monitoring software that I can use to keep track of what is happening with my bandwith with all the different settings I've had
