Cannot leave Homegroup

in my case none of the above worked, then i found out my windows firewall did not work either. i scoured the net with all the error codes and this solved all my problems.

Try this repair tool ...I hope it works. :)
It registers pretty all system components related in any way to security and firewall settings, also it re-creates all rules and rights for dirs and registry keys.

Windows Firewall service will not start, Error Code 5: Access Denied

I have tried all suggestions, tips and other sorts on the forum on "How to Leave the Homegroup" on Windows 7 but all of these failed.

Some of the suggestions is to download "re-image" software but to my dismay, it leads to selling me a software of which I cannot afford to buy. So, I think this is not the only solution wherein you must buy a troubleshooting software in order to solve this issue.

I hope this forum will help me. For initial information, I am using a OS of Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I have a good 1TB HDD, Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4170 CPU @ 3.70GHz, 3700 Mhz Processor, Gigabyte H81M DS2 Motherboard.

Please help. Thank you.
