Yes, both have the network set to "Home" and I've tried redoing the Homegroup a couple times.

In Kapersky's control panel, set the network connection to "Trusted" the default is public. Kapersky seems to ignore the Windows setting for home, so you need to manually switch it.

Hey, sorry it's taken me so long to get back on this issue. It seems to be caused by some random port setting in Kaspersky. I ended up doing another fresh install and setting Kaspersky to "average" user mode (as opposed to "advanced") during the install and everything works fine now. Now if only Kaspersky could work with MS to make their products easier to use with Windows 7...

I know its been a while but i thought that i would let you know how i fixed mine, my main desktop pc showed my laptops and both my laptops showed each other but my laptops did not show my destop even though i could network them.
When i did a troubleshoot it said network related problems.
I changed my network card for a cheap one on ebay and now its all working i hope this helps some people with the same issues.
