    All you have to do is download msn messenger form Essentials - Windows Live

    that is the easiest way to set up remote desktop.

    once you get that done. I will send you a PM of my msn email so we can start it.

    ok, installed, and ready
    By the way, it took 19 minutes to download and install that program. I rebooted as well, but that takes just about a minute

    What do you mean it dropped the connection?

    so you can't stay connected to MSN Messenger

    no, since i signed in, it has been constant on off, on off

    ok, just timed it, 45 seconds, it goes to the connection lost, will retry again in 30 seconds, if i hit retry now, it will connect immediatly

    How do I flush a computer's DNS cache?

    Try this but also I would like for you to go into your Router...

    Please look under your router and see what version of the router you have. I see there are 4-5 different kinds. We can see if there is a firmware update

    I know this can be aggervating right now but the only way for things to work is trial and error.. LIke right now i got Windows 2008 Server and its a pain to setup but its amazing on what it can do.

    Please go here....
    but you have to remember. Ifyouare going to upgrde your firmware... use a WIRED connection. No wireless please. very important.

    your just going to choose the Firmware hyperlink

    that is your new firmware. see if that does anything. if you have any questions about updating it. then this page will show you everything
