Should I do it on this computer or on my desktop or does it matter?
Should I do it on this computer or on my desktop or does it matter?
I would do it on the most reliable computer you got so there are not implications
I'm not usually on this computer which is by my router. It is having problems too. It flashes up that a network cable is unplugged then goes away and reconnects.
You need to hook a laptop up to that router... or a desktop that has either Vista or XP on it so that the router won't disconnect it and the routers' IPs are:
192.168.1.1 is the routers IPs....
ok, I've upgraded my firmware
just did my test of videos since it is every single time.....and fail
okay can you reboot your Windows 7 and just unplug your CAble modem and router... wait about 3 min and then plug it back in... just to do a flush on it
ok, test, fail....but I do think that it probably has something to do with my old router. I noticed that the system light is blinking and it seems like that light should stay solid and all of the other lights should blink....
also tested with msn messenger and it is still doing what it was before
can you do a direct connection to your cable modem? that way we can probaby isolate the problem.
Ok, I appologize for leaving you hanging. I got called into work. Tomorrow afternoon I will direct connect to my modem to see what happens there.
After my last post I looked up Trendnet's number and called them basically to see if the system light should be blinking. According to them, yes. He also had me do quite a few other things and told me to try what we did for a while and if that didn't make things better to change the channel from 1, 6 to 11. To see if either of those helped. Whatever the problem is, it actually seems to be affecting all of my computers. Just trying to keep you up to date.
