    wl you say i have epic ping failure but it works fine on ethernet even though im getting request timed out. so what do i need to do on wireless to get it from destination host unreachable to request timed out if i can do that, i might get it to work wireless???? maybe.

    When you ping from A to B, it's not a complete ping untill it goes from A to B and back to A. There is no half pings.

    Yuo say that the XBOX is hard wired and your laptop is wireless connected.
    Yuo should look in to the configuration of you router. By default Wireless is allowed access out to the internet but not onto the wired connection.
    How to enablew this depends on your type of router.
