According to a Diagnostic check on my vista laptop, it's a "problem with your Domain Name Server"
Not sure what that means!

That is a service provided by your Internet Service Provider. I think next step is to give them a call!

Cheers!

Windows 7 Ult, Windows 8.1 Pro,

I doubt the ISP going down is the cause of all your problems unless your ISP is just really bad and unreliable, resetting the modem first then the router should get you back online.

From your described pattern of randomly dropped connections on different machines I would say the router needs some attention.

Oh be serious LOL. If you really can't get online either your ISP is down or it's a hardware problem with either your modem or router.

Is it possible to check if I have multiple wireless connections running? I'm trying to connect to "wireless name 2" whereas the connection just says "wireless name" without a number! And I also got the windows box asking
Me to define whate of new network this is, "home, public" etc! Not sure if there are multiples running!
Thanks

Sorry just got the post, as I said, last time it was my ipv6 how do I check if that's enabled on windows 7 please? I've tried googling but only find vista!
Can't even access the router page now! "Taking to long to respond"

If that router was mine it would be in the trash by now LOL. If you can't even access the router page you have bigger problems than IPv6. Ain't nothing going to work until you can open up that page.

This is hurrendous, I guess a long shot is that the internet company are updating the line/service or updating the route?
No idea what to do...
