Could the machine as a machine/Pc able to access the internet? If so you are half way complete.

The other half is the ad-hoc creation, you have to choose the type of security that the other devices is compatile with so they can connect.

Note, the ad-hoc connects runs off your wireless adapter, so if the machine is using wifi to connect to your router, disconnect it and use direct cabling. you cannot turn on both ad-hoc and wifi to router at once.

That's weird, so you LAN connection is 100% net accessible? and you're devices have connected to the adhoc connection on your W7?

Ps. Your adhoc connection becomes your wireless connection, and it doen't have net access?

Well that is why you need to bridge. Have you setup any static IP or something for the adhoc?

You need to define the IPs on the DS.

Your computer does not have a DHCP to sned out dynamic IPs, so you are going to have to use the ICS and define the DS as: 192.168.0.2

    Subnet: 255.255.255.0

    Gateway: 192.168.0.1

DNS: dns for your internet, can be found on the status page of your router
