    Hi and Welcome,

I guessing you could be thinking about adhoc wireless networking off your W7. This allows your W7 to host incoming wireless connections.

well its not exactly for another computer so ad-hoc wont do the trick. im kinda trying to make it work with gadgets like a DS lite for example. i was told that if can make it accept incoming wireless connections and then bridge the it with my current connection it should work but i have no clue how to make it accept incoming wireless connections. and yes i realize that a router would be the fastest option i just dont have the money for a cheap router.

Ad-hoc connection doesn't have to be for a computer. If the incoming device has internet connection capabilities, it can connect to W7 through ad-hocing. If you want to bridge, then you need to have the LAN adapter connected the internet and then use that cnnection to bridge your ad-hog wireless connection.

You created the ad-hoc wireless connection, and you see "Waiting for users..." on the wireless network. You then have the DS lite searchs, finds and connects to this ad-hoc network. Can you confirm these actions?

ok i just finished trying 64-bit and 128-bit and nothing is working only thing is i get a 51300 error in slot one. i googled it and i got the same fix for this error code. i wouldnt know how to do the mac filtering fix and the first fix when using ad-hoc so i guess im kinda stuck.

The MAC filtering an option on your Router. However, since your wireless network is off the machine (W7), you won't need to worry about it. Are you saying your machine cannot connect to the internet?
