[Solved]Network icon problem: still down with internet

Hi there, I have an issue with my network connection icon. It's still down (red cross on it), even If I got internet access, through my cellular phone, or even by ethernet card. I thought it was my virtual adapters (vmnet) which do not have internet connectivity that were in fault, but then I deactivated these cards and I still have this annoying problem.
    Any ideas ?
    It used to work ...

This looks like the unidentified public connection problem to me. Try this tutorial which explains why this happens and how to fix it. At least I think thats what the problem is.
Windows 7 Unidentified Network, Limited Access, No Internet Connection Problem Resolved

Depending on your router this fix my also apply, go to post 6 in the link below.

The only connection that has no gateway is my conneciton through my phone. All others are DHCP. I removed the nokia modem and rebooted, but same thing appeared...

red x means something is "disconnected". meaning an unused adapter that is set to show in the sys tray. virtual adapters, wireless adapters, bridged adapters.... one of them is unplugged and showing up in your sys tray...

    Haha I solved the problem:
It was my openvpn tunnel adapter, which I set as hidden when installing openvpn, which did all this mess...
So you may wonder why it just started to make windows crazy ? Well, I tried to connect my vpn, but it seems my girlfriend unplugged my nas as I can't even ssh to it.
    So what I did:
    gone to:
    C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\bin
    ran:
    deltapall.bat
    and then
    addtap.bat
which removed all my tunnel interfaces, and created a new one, which appears in the network connections, so that I can manage it...

    Thanks guys for your help.
