    May help some

I had trouble with my internet much like many who have posted here. I cured my issues and maybe my cure can help others. Seems that the number one problem was corrupted ISP software, so download the current version, then uninstall the old and reinstall. Two other factors may have been causing trouble, pop up blockers should be turned off and it may be that the wireless devices should be disabled.

    same problem

hi this is my first time to sevenforms and in response to your question i have had the exact same problem at first i thought it was something wrong with to modem it's self in side so i changed it that seemed to solve the problem but it lasted for 2 months. the i got the same problem again so i rang my ISP and the said it might be something up with the line. but anyway when i got another new modem i rang my ISP again and the gave me all the correct infomation. the answer to your question is that their might be a configuration problem in the settings. so if i were you i would reformat the modem then ring your IPS and ask them for the correct settings.
please let me know how it turns out for you.:)

Im having the same issue. My internet was working fine, then I got a new modem (Motorola SBG6580) and I was getting online with a few issues every once in a while but now I cant do absolutly anything. Sometimes the browsers would load a page for a few seconds and then stop again. My computer shows that I am connected to the modem with access to the internet so I don't know why is not working. I disabled my firewall and uninstalled my antivirus and nothing. I unchecked IPv6 from the internet options and nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciate it.

Also, when I run the troubleshooter I get the error "The DNS Server Isn't Responding".
