    Run as Administrator on Network

I have an app that runs fine off of Windows 7 but has networking issues running with windows 7. Part of the app looks to create and and read files on network drives. To run the app, we need to run it as Administrator and then we cannot access the network drives. When you go to the drives through explorer as the logged in user, you have access to the drives such that you can create, read, change
    or delete files.

As part of testing, we changed the network drive to the local c: drive and the app ran fine, but we need to have shared files on the network to run the app correctly. Thoughts please.

    Welcome to Seven Forums!

It's possible the W7 Firewall is blocking the program from accessing the network. Try changing the firewall settings to allow the program.
