utorrent crashing my internet connection to 0

Hi guys, i know this is not the utorrent forum but those guys doesn't help too much they blame the ISP or the router.

When im using utorrent with certain torrents my internet connection crashes then suddenly the speed beging to drop to 0 then establishes itself and i can download again, this happens with some torrents with others don't.

I can be downloading a torrent then i start firefox and try to post here (for example)...and the connection drops to 0 almost when it reaches 0 it begins to speed up again.

What can i do? i've already followed all the steps posted at utorrent but they don't help.

You may see if a driver update for your network adapter fixes the issue.

Could it be your ISP is throttling you? If you are downloading large files, I would not be surprised...

it could be my ISP is telmex, however is very hard to tell when im doing nothing but using utorrent everything is fine the issues begin when i want to surf or post a message in a forum using firefox, or when another person is using the internet conection too.

If you are using AVG there is a issue with it doing this. you can either disable AVG and download, or switch to a different AV (my choice and I stopped having any trouble with utorrent).
