Unable to access SQL 2008 from Virtual PC

I have a Dell laptop with Windows 7 enterprise 64 bits, I am running Windows SQL server 2008 in that laptop.
In that laptop I am running to a Virtual PC with windows XP home.
When I am at the office I can connect correctly from the Virtual PC to my laptop SQL server 2008.
But when I am at home I CANNOT connect to the SQL server from inside the Virtual PC. It used to work correctly when the laptop was running windows XP pro.
I duoubt is a SQL configuration issue because as I said when working at the office I can do it correctly.
I am not sure if I am missing some network configuration for my home network.

    TIA

Check your physical machine's IP address...

The laptop's IP address, and your virtual machine's network configuration (is it running on bridged or NAT)

It is running on Bridged, I have my Network Card and wireless card selected as network adapters.
