    Thought I'd check in here. Looks like we still have a problem.

    I think I may know what the problem is. In your ipconfig /all I see the W7 PC shows as Node Type........ Peer to Peer and the WXP box shows as Node Type.....Unknown.

    This may be the issue. the Node Type determines how NetBIOS resolves names to addresses.

    "Ipconfig /All" Command Shows the Node Type as Unknown

    You cannot view other workgroup computers on the network on a Windows XP-based computer

    This applies to the Win XP box.
