Do you have the same antivirus, firewall and antispyware set up on all three computers? You're being directed to a secure site, so it sounds like something is blocking you.

Win 7 is Avast A/V & Windows Firewall, the rest are all the latest McAfee. I've even tried creating a new Live ID still the same. It starts to load the next page and clicks in and out several times before reaching that failed page I showed previously.

I'm in my spare XP right now and it diud exactly the same thing here. I've posted on the microsoft.public.technet newsgroup to see if anyone there might have a clue what's going on.

Very strange. I thought that maybe my coupon code was the problem but no it isn't.

Probably busy with people logging in to see if the RC is up or news or whatever. I haven't had any problem logging in though. I checked tooo.

Check everything except "Prefetch", click "Empty Selected". Do the same for FireFox or Opera if you use either of those browsers.

Jacee - it just suddenly decided to work. There must have been an internal issue somewhere along the line. I'm now a few dollars poorer.

    Thanks.

Interesting array of downloads...no Windows 7 RC yet though.

What's the betting that it will appear on Technet at the same time as it's released to the public? I'll be a bit teed off if that happens.

I've had a Technet sub for years and unfortunately Technet seems to get everything about the same time as the public. We sometimes get it a day or so early. Whoopie

I got as far as the "Buy" button. Click that and up comes the usual Windows Live sign-in box. It's then that it goes weird.
    I reported a bug.

I suppose I could try resetting IE8 and starting over. It does the same in Firefox however, which makes me think that there's some sort of bug.

Maybe someone on high is telling me not to waste my money.
I'm wondering if Microsoft's "fabuous" IE8 is incompatible with the signup process
