This is a very common problem described here: Enable ActiveSync & Windows Mobile Device Center Synchronization on Windows 7 x64 and x86

I cant seem to get my touch pro (sprint) to active sync using Windows mwdia device center. I was able to start WMDC but the phone driver is not installed I get the following error: Tried both 7068 and 7077. IN 7077, I cant even get the WMDC to start.
Please chk the attachment for a pic of the error. has anyone else tried to sync their TP with Win7?
    Thanks

Hey I was having this problem too and I just uninstalled WMDC and Downloaded the one for 64-bit vista. I know it says vista but it works for Windows 7 64-bit as well: Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 Driver for Windows Vista (64-bit)
