Internet Download Manager & Win 7...

I have used Internet Download Manager for ages to avoid corrupt downloads, it has always work perfect with XP and even Vista Ultimate 64... until now that is.

No matter what I do, every time I begin a download with IDM from my Win 7 Ultimate RTM (it also did it with RC), it immediately stops and disconnects my internet. My network works perfect and the other computers have internet access except my computer... the one using IDM.

The Troubleshoot Problems fixes this in about a minute or two but, if I go back to resume my download, it bogs down again after a few seconds.

After the 2nd or 3rd run of Troubleshoot Problem, the problem goes away and I can continue downloading forever.

I am using the latest version and I have uninstalled/install many times after.

I know my way around computers but Networking and I just don't get along... anybody have any pointers on what to check or uncheck?

So... nobody has any interruptions or internet issues with Win 7? Could it be more of an issue with RTM then?

I found out on the EVGA forums that the issue has been solved by installing the latest Nvidia nforce Ethernet drivers 73.2.0. so, if anybody is still suffering from this... now you know!
