    Homegroup and sharing

I have my htpc and my other PC in the same home group. When I sit at my other PC and access the HTPC HD and try to delete a file, I get the "You need permission to perform this action" error message. I have all the options (that I can find) set to share all privledges both to read and write. Any thoughts?

Does the PC machine have full admin rights? Not just logged on as standard user?

For the folder(s) in question, go to Properties > Sharing button > Share and set the permission level for Homegroup.

Am logged in as Admin. Have all folders allowing sharing and read & write. Thanks for the thoughts.

Did you implement my guidance above? And what was the result. Being logged in as admin is required default for such an operation.
