I have got a Windows7 & Windows Vista machine seeing each other to a point, when I try to access a folder that I have the permissions setup correctly for on a Windows Vista computer, the Vista computer asks me for the Network Password when I enter in the Name and Password which is on Admin it won't connect any ideas ?

BTW here is a excellent link for those trying to link Win7<--->Vista<--->XP

I changed the setting in Vista to disable asking for a UserName & Password, that work Although I don't think this problem is solved just yet, I will have to play around with security and Vista for the folder, unless someone has a solution to this problem that I could tackle and solve quicker ?

This worked for me after some very frustrating evenings.
Check your Network Protection in Norton, Network Security Map and make sure Computer discovery is "ON" for both machines.
