I've been googling for the past 4 hours on how to fix this darn problem, and I still haven't grasped the solution. I'm not too computer savvy but the funny thing is my 2 desktops connected to the router (wired) can get online, and my two laptops connected to the router (wired) can't get internet access at all. Any help would be much appreciated!

Dear Joshyo10!!
I had the same problem but now solved.
Have a look at this: http://www.sevenforums.com/network-...responding-no-internet-access.html#post652471
Follow as I did..Hope this will solve the problem...

A) What I did first was: RUN a command prompt with administrator access.
START> CMD > IPCONFIG/all
Then you will see physical address of your LAN card and Wireless Card..
1) Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection will have physical address as "D2-7F-55-Q0-M7-57". It is unique address. Similarly,
2) Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection will also have physical address as "00-1W-26-J6-1R-AV".
My wireless network was working nicely but i had problem with wired network.

B) So Next thing I did was, right clicked on
Then START > CMD > NCPA.CPL
Right click on Network Connection > Properties > Click on "Configure.." button > clcik on Advanced tab > Find the Network Address
Under Network address you will find the "Not Present" checked. Uncheck that by clicking the check button in front of a blank box.
In that box put the value as physical address of your network card without dash (for the network which is not working...LAN Ethernet card address in your case) i.e.D27F55Q0M757
I clicked OK and waited for a minute...
And my internet started...
Hope this will work for you as well...
Best wishes!!!

When I hit configure and the advanced tab the network address isn't there for me to uncheck what does this mean?

I realize this is an older post, HOWEVER I just recently ran into the error, "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding" and I just wanted to thank jkus124
Used his method in this thread and successfully corrected my system error!! Good looking out!!
