Transmit speed is low in N standard wireless

    Hi all.
Thanks for all the people who are helping me out in my other posts.
I've noticed that transmit speed it lower then 300Mbps in my N standard wireless network.
Here is a screenshot that I hope will shed some light. I would like to get the maximum out of my wireless network so if you guys need any more info please let me know.

    Thanks.

I'm assuming you have the latest drivers for your wireless card and your router's firmware has been updated.

A Wireless N network won't actually run at it's peak speed because it needs to reserve some of the bandwidth. Your signal strength isn't 100%, I'd try to improve that and see if it increases the speeds.

the maximum theoretical speed is 270mbs ,your speeds are better than average i personally would'nt start poking about you could end up making matters worse

but can you see that the transmit speed is at 150Mbps?
Shouldn't it be over 200Mpbs at least? This is taken from my computer which uses a USB wireless adapter in N standard. i use WPA2-PSK + WEP for N standard.

My router is configured to work on AP mode, is that ok?
Also I have paremeters such as, Data rate and N data rate set to auto, should I set them on something else?

There is nothing wrong with the current speed you are getting.
Leave well enough alone is my suggestion.

I agree - leave alone. Typically these N routers will receive at up to 270Mbps and transmit at half that rate. They just publish the higher rate in the sales pitch.

How far are you from the router?
