Wireless NAS folder "Mapped" but unit inaccessible

I have Windows 7. I recently added a Thecus 0503 NAS to my home network. I have an iTunes folder on the NAS that I "mapped to Network drive". Very simple. Selected the "Irive" because I is for iTunes. I copied my music files to the NAS iTunes folder. To my relief the "Mapped" drive appears clearly just below Crive, so no problem. If I click on it, my iTUnes music libarry opens beautifully. But now suddenly, and I'm guessing that it isn't a simple coincidence, the Thecus N0503 no longer appears as a device in Windows Explorer "Network". I have tried searching for it by using "add device" and it just spins and spins searching endlessly. Oh, but I can move the mouse cursor over one inch to the mapped Irive and pull up the folder I mapped from THE NAS!!! Wait a minute... It can see the folder but not the device???? What gives? I need to access other folders on the NAS (non music) but unless it's listed so that I can click on it, I cannot access these folders. Any suggestions out there?

Try disconnecting the mapped drive... what do you get then?

It's probably better to make a shortcut to the iTunes folder than to map it as a drive.

Windows 7 Large files stuck in "mapped files" / "stand-by"
Afternoon, I'm a bit boggled by this issue we are having on a PC at our office. It seems that the PC normally will boot up and the memory usage will be low 2 GB / 16 GB until 10-12 minutes go by then it shoots up 11 GB / 16 GB. It's really odd and I can't explain it, since no applications are...

Well title says it all. Blew a fuse accidentally, went outside when I turned it back on. When I came back I realized that Windows won't boot giving me 0xc0000225 error. What options do I have? HDD seems to be working fine and I see it in BIOS. So far only tried switching SATA ports.
