    N+/Super G

I'm about to purchase a BELKIN Wireless N+ MIMO USB Network Adapter F5D8055, to temporarily use with my ZyXel 550N router, which is Super G, which only outputs 54Mbps on G or 108 Mbps on Super G. I understand that the Belkin adapter will not be able to perform at it's maximum of 300 Mbps, but will it be able to use the Super G or just the G performance speed?

Maybe you find this info in the user manual. It is not in the specifications.

Thanks, I scanned through the table of content and the manual pages, but it appears that like most manuals, it doesn't go that far in depth. I suspect that the only way this question could be answered is by someone with hands on experience in this particular aspect of operation.

Oh well, I gave in to the impulse and ordered a Belkin F5D8232-4 N Wireless N1 Vision MiMo Router to go with the adapter, so if they don't talk to each other, or speak too slowly, then Belkin can deal with the problem.

My linksys WRT600N only mentions 'G' 54 speed (so does the ralink website) and I get that sort of thruput.

As far as I understand - if you enable 'N'x300Mbps in dual aerial mode b&g modems can't see the router connection/won't work!

Only 'N' 150Mbps will talk with backward a/b/g router compatability with 300/150Mbps 'n' card.

I still use a G+ router with 'n' pci card so correct me if I am wrong!
