What is the user name for XP in homegroup network?

I have a homegroup set up using Asus WL-520GU using Tomato. The Win 7 PC's see the whole homegroup with no problem. The homegroup asked for password so I entered it, I can share files and libraries between these two Win 7 systems.

However, the homegroup asked the two XP PC's for username and password. I don't recall setting any username for my homegroup although I do have a password set up when I created my homegroup. So what should use as the usernames? I left username blank and entered the password alone, it didn't work.

Any suggestion, guys?

Homegroup is only compatible with Windows 7, unfortunately. You may try using a workgroup instead.
