    Limited Access

Ok, so I just got a new computer, OS is Windows 7, and when I connect, it says I have limited access, and the internet doesn't work. My old computers were Windows XP, and my router is Netgear, so it says I must have a bunch of other computers. Am I able to fix this so I can have full access with out buying something and with out uninstalling Windows 7, or do I have to buy a new router?

Have you tried the Network and sharing Center built into Win 7? You can access this from the Control Panel.

In addition to what CarlTR6 said are you connecting by wireless or are you physically connected to your router??

Since you got a new computer, all the drivers should be installed correctly,
What manufacture did you get it from, (example, HP, Dell, etc)

Try this, Turn off your router for 30 seconds or so, then plug it back in.. what are the results?

    Hope this Helps..

That depends on the router your using. If you can give me the model number and version of the router I can check if it's compatible.
