    File Transfer with Remote Assistance/Easy-Connect?

I'm trying to setup Remote-Assistance with Windows7 so that I can help my 88-year-old father when he gets into trouble. I have installed Windows-7 on both our machines and I have set up the "Easy Connect" functionality, and it works fine. I can connect with him very easily now.

But in the version of Remote Assistance that ran on Windows/XP there was an easy to send/receive files; (which came in handy to be able to transfer updates to our "Family Tree Maker" genealogy data-file back and forth.) Now that we can connect easily, I don't see a way to do that file transfer with Remote-Assistance/Easy-Connect. Is this capability still there?

You can't xfer files via Remote Assistance in Win7.
However, you can do so via Remote Desktop by dragging files from one desktop to another.

I use the Free version of TeamViewer

File transfer works great, even for large files

PS: Family Tree Maker is great, also
