    Homegroup Headache

I'm running Windows 7 7100 on both my desktop and laptop which are both connected through a router.

I have tried joining from laptop to desktop. No dice.

from desktop to laptop. No dice either.

I've changed passwords. Restarted both computers a bunch of times. No dice.

The message I am currently getting is "password is incorrect" even though it sees the available homegroup that the other machine has created.

Can someone provide me a walkthrough to getting this to work?

In advanced settings, I have discovery turned on.
