    I cannot connect to internet

    Hi everybody.
I have recently installed a Windows 7 ultimate Build 7600 on my PC and I had an XP SP3 from before. Now when booted from the XP, I cannot connect to the internet. ( I am using a Gigabyte Modem for Dail up). I don't have this problem when using windows 7. Please tell me what is this for.
    any comment is appreciated.

    thanks.

If the Captain's suggestion doesn't work, try giving each OS it's own IP address.

    Hi everybody,
thanks for your reply, But non of the above worked for me. For further assistance, I should say when try to open the connection window and click on Dial button, after a few seconds a message appears and say " There was no dial tone". I have not personalized the configuration of the modem on each one my Windows.Do you think it should be related to the drivers the windows use to operate the device? well the driver for my XP is Gigabyte V92 modem and for the win7 one is PCI V92 Speakerphone modem
