    ADSL Problem


    Hi there I have a simence modem (C-110) that its driver for usb does not exist for windows 7 so I connected it with LAN cable aftr few days I used my modem's usb port for my laptop so I needed to disable my local area connection after I 'have setup the driver of my modem on my laptop and enable my local area connection I've got error 691 that says the remote server does not establish then when I get back On my laptop with xp Os everything is fine and my board band connection easily connect to network I thought mybe deleting the local area connection will help but the answer is when I right click on it I can't hit delete and when I hit the delete button it say's you can not delet this connection please help me I'm so confused I don't know what to do I did any thing but nothings new happening .... Thank you so much ...

    If you really want to, you can go into Device Manager (Start > Right Click Computer > Properties > Device Manager > Find your Ethernet Adapter > Right Click > Disable)

    However, I strongly recommend using Ethernet over USB. It's more reliable, it's faster and it's just better over all. There's no reason to connect a Modem via USB unless you dont have a working ethernet port.
