Go right ahead. My pleasure. I nicked it too - a while ago.
So I guess I'm stuck dumping another $50-$60 into this box and crossing my fingers that this expensive D-Link Adapter works?
Newegg.com - D-Link DWA-552 IEEE 802.11g, IEEE802.11n Draft 2.0 32-bit PCI Xtreme Desktop Adapter Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA, WPA2)
As was the story with the Gigabyte Wireless Adapter that is currently giving me trouble...the reviewers are reporting issues with Win. 7 x64, of course there are also reviews claiming that it worked perfectly out of the box on Win. 7 x64.
Newegg.com - D-Link DWA-556 IEEE 802.11n (draft) IEEE 802.11g IEEE 802.11b PCI Express Xtreme Desktop Adapter Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA, WPA2)
Same story here.
They're certainly both on the expensive side of wireless network adapters.
