A2DP Bluetooth support for audio under Windows 7

I am planning to buy a wireless speaker (ZiiSound D5 from Creative Labs should you ask) mainly to be used with my nokia phone. But it would be great to be able to play music from my laptop wirelessly, too. As I saw A2DP Bluetooth under the requirements I was wondering if there were any OS-level limitations? I mean - should any laptop with just any flavour of Windows 7 work with this speaker?

According to the press release it'll work with bluetooth enabled ipods. It makes no mention of PCs. It should work if you don't set the wrong settings, but we all know the chances of that. Either way, it has a 3.5mm input for those less technologically inclined.

Thanks for this explanation. Meanwhile I saw a mention of a USB adapter for this sound system here:

The flagship model, the ZiiSound D5, will come bundled with an iPod-compatible transmitter as standard and, for a limited time, the USB-compatible transmitter.

So I think it is meant to work on a PC as well. I might send them an email or something.
