    How do i use virtual wifi


    hey guys ....m new here and new to windows 7 aswell..........i heard that you can connect to multiple ap's with the virtual wifi but what i found googling is that it can act as a router but not as a second wifi card...........so in simple i want to connect to 2 different aps both have internet so i get the mixed bandwidth.....so can anyone tell me what m i exactly suppose to do....

    open your network and sharing center
    click set up a new connection or network
    then click the last option "set up a wireless ad hoc (pc to pc) network

    and then connect other devices like other laptops, ps3, xbox 360, wii, and more.

    thnx for the response but i know how to do that.......what i am saying is connect to 2 different internet sources eg. (Supernet-ap and Brainnet-ap) both are 1mb connections so i get a 2mb connection

    Based on my limited understanding, I think if you construct a routing table you might be able to do something. However, they would be independent paths. So, you could browse at 1MB and do a different browser to the other 1mb path...

    And I think you would have to specify which address ranges go to which connection, so if you wanted to use both client programs on the address range assigned to 1, the 1MB will sit idle and the two clients will be using the same 1MB line.

    And I don't know how this is implemented in Windows 7.

    NoN got it rite yes i was referring to that but now i come to know that microsoft has not fully implemented their long abundant research called MSRMesh-VirtualWIFI in windows 7 yet, it can only host multiple APs but can not connect to multiple APs as of yet...........thnx for your quick responses guys..!!!!
