This has been driving me nuts for a while. I can find tons of stuff on how to remove the history, but those are for the RDC window. I'd like to get rid of the flotsam on the "recent" on my Start menu for RDC.

I would like to establish a Remote Desktop Connection from my Windows 7 PC to my Windows XP PC. They are both on the same LAN but are not connected to any workgroup or domain.

I'm running two computers in WLAN both have Win7 Ultimate 64bit.
I've noticed that if I want to have remote desktop connection, I must have a password as a user on both computers while I don't want to have a password when I use the remote desktop connection.
Can someone help me please...
Is it possible to remote connect to another computer from Win 7 ultimate 64bit if the other computer is running windows xp sp3 or any lower version of windows 7?
