    Windows XP cannot print to printer shared on windows 7


    Hi all,

    Printer HP Laser Jet P2015 attached and shared on a windows 7 home premium machine and there is no problem if i print to it directly. Other windows Xp machines on the same LAN can connect to it but can not print to it. And there are no error displayed. Pls give me some suggestions. Thanks

    Make certain that you're on a workgroup, not a homegroup and you have printer sharng enabled and no passwords on the workgroup. It should all be covered in that tutorial Crispy posted.
