Suddenly cannot map drive over VPN - any clues please??

Hi zzz2496 - thanks very much for your assistance - I cannot find anything wrong in the firewall (compared settings to another machine that is working). However, I have found the following error in the system event log everytime I connect to the VPN

Initialization failed because the driver device could not be created. Use the string "000000000100320000000000D71000C011010000010000C008000000000000000000000000000000" to identify the interface for which initialization failed. It represents the MAC address of the failed interface or the Globally Unique Interface Identifier (GUID) if NetBT was unable to map from GUID to MAC address. If neither the MAC address nor the GUID were available, the string represents a cluster device name.

NetBT - Event Id: 4311

Yesterday I was onsite at a clients premises and connected to their wireless network - everything was working and i could map drives. Today I am back on my own network and it is not working - I cannot think of anything else that has happened apart from moving across different networks.

So strange, contact your internet company, and tell them to come over and help you.
Or maybe it's something the router or what u know have. Try to enter the router and look there
