Currently, I'm working with a mix, because of the HD failure that I mentioned, but I have tried with and without the Home Group between XP and Windows 7 and not had any luck either way. This is most likely due to my own ignorance, but I'm tired of fiddling with it, and will wait til I have W7 on both machines again before doing anything else.

I just checked on Seagate's warranty status, and they show that my drive has not arrived, even though UPS tracking shows it delivered and signed for on 4-27-2010. I'll have to wait til Monday to give them a call.

My Cisco arrived today, and I wasted no time trying it out. I'm happy to say that it seems to be working flawlessly...even with a W7/XP mix. I did have a problem using the Windows connection utility, but with the Belkin utility it was easy. I'm relieved, because my old Belkin was making me feel like an idiot.

I still have a lot to learn about this router and network, but it streams Hulu wirelessly as well as if it were hardwired.
