Internet Connectivity Problems

Ok Guys really in need for somehelp i have a laptop with built in wireless, OS is windows 7. Just got a new intrent connection from sky and my laptop will hook up to it anwhere in the house, apart from when i am in my room where when i try go oin the internet it disconnects and shows some limited connection thingy.....don,t have a clue on how to resolve this issues some help is much needed and would be greatly appreciated.

Wireless has limitations with respect to distance, it also cant go thru many walls. So if it works in every room except yours... you can try moving the router, and or antennas.

What router and what type of wireless (b, g, or n) are we talking about here?

Im not sure its built into my laptop (srry not very good technicallyat this stuff) its called aspirton or somthing i do have a spare router so could i place that in my room and then try connecting the router to the router and then to my laptop???

A wireless extender/repeater could be another option:

As I said earlier, try to move the antennas around and test it again from your room... also if you have room to move the router higher up in that room it can help!
