    bluetooth driver installed-something went wrong.

os: windows 7 hp 64bit. Not skilled user.

To connect to router I use an usb wlan adapter, only win xp 64bit supported.
Wenn installing the xp 64bit driver I get error messages. That is not the problem because after installing, the dongle runs without errors.

Then I installed a bluesoleil bluetooth driver I've downloaded and something with
    the network went wrong.
It wouldn't work and I uninstalled it. (After that I installed an older bluetooth driver
from a cd rom, and it runs without errors).

The problem: The network symbol in the task bar has a red cross, like there is no
internet connection via wlan, but there is. And it is fast and stable.
Placing the mouse on the symbol, it says: Internet acces to 'xy', that is the wlan that is runing. And below it says "Unidentified network-no network access".

How do I get rid of that network?

If I open 'network and sharing center', it shows my 'home network' named 'xy' and I can click into it's status options. So it runs like it should.

But below my 'home network' symbol is a 'unidentified network' symbol with
'no network access', no connections, no nothing. And no links to click.

Again, how to I get rid of this 'unidentified network'?

I tried to 'restore to an earlier time'. Didn't work. Got error message: 0x80070005).

In 'Device manager' there was a yellow mark at 'network adapter - tunneling adapter' or something like that. I uninstalled it, and the adapter with the yellow mark
    was gone.

But the 'unidentified network' is still there.

If you have a solution please write a step by step guide- thanks.

There are a few things that can cause this problem but the most likely cause is the Apple Bonjour service. To fix that problem perform the following steps.
    Run msconfig "command prompt"
    Select Services tab
Uncheck the service Bonjour Service,> Under the Services tab uncheck the service called "##Id_String1.6844[... and then a bunch of numbers]" by Apple

Other problems with an unidentified network can be fixed by following the link below.

The other thing that causes this is a messed up Mac address. You can change it if you need too.

    Thank you for your answer.
I'm able to go to the 'select services tab'.

But I'm not able to find 'Uncheck the service Bonjour Service,> Under the Services tab uncheck the service called "##Id_String1.6844[... and then a bunch of numbers]" by Apple'.

I guess it's there, but I cannot identify it.
    New suggestions are welcomed.

Most likely it was Virtual box that messed up the wifi icons.
