Sharing issues - wlan between 7 and Vista

Sorry to open a new thread, but i've been googlin for 2 hours now without solving anything, and i have also s9hared this forum but none of the threads i've found could help me(yes, i checked this but it didn't help).

So i have a Vista pc and a 7 laptop that connect to the internet through my router, one through ethernet and one via wi-fi. I want to share folders from my Vista to my laptop through the router, but windows seems to oppose with all its strength: when i try to share it, the simple "share" button is greyed out, so i have to go to advanced sharing and share it with "everyone". When i try to access it from 7, it blocks me telling me that i do not have enough authorizations, although from there i can access the "public" folder.
Both the computers are in Workgroup.
Pretty much same thing from the other way around: i share a folder with the group "home", try to access it from the pc ad it tells me to check if i wrote the address and folder name correctly.
    What to do?
I tried disabling Comodo and Antivir but no luck.
Thank you in advance for your kind help.

Do you have password protected sharing disabled? In that case, each computer will see the other with a Guest account. Try the following:

    1) Create same account\password on both computers.

    2) Enable Password Protected Sharing.

Alternatively, you can give the Guest full control permissions for the shared folder.

You should first uninstall completely your Comodo firewall and A/V software. They tend to cause problems with sharing and there is no way to tell if they are preventing you from sharing until they are off your system. You can reinstall them later after you get sharing working.

After that check the time/date on both machines and make sure they are in sync.

Follow this guide to set up sharing with your Vista machine.

In what sense? My accounts are already both Alex and have the same password(none).
How do i give full control permissions to Guest? I'm kinda pissed at Vista's confusing interface..

But if that was the case, wouldn't i not be able to even access the public folder, which i can?
Thanks for the link, i'll give it a read.
