Venths, I have a simple idea... This will clear a lot of things...
In the Windows 7 computer, assign this IP address:
IP addr: 192.168.1.253
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
DefGw: 192.168.1.254
DNS: 192.168.1.254
Use this, and try to open yahoo or google or wherever you want... See if it works.

Your issue is that the DHCP server doesn't give you any IP address configuration, so by manually switching to static, your problem is solved. Now, since you are connected to the net, trace why your computer wasn't given an IP address... I suspect that there's a DHCP reservation that's stuck in the router...

You can poke around in the web interface, in parts that has to do with DHCP configuration/DHCP status... Start there...

Hmmm, I don't know your router's make/model... So, the best advice would be for you to poke around in DHCP related configuration... Btw, it's 7:24 AM over here, I'm going to get some sleep... I'll check back later.
