    No Wireless or bridge...


    hello

    i have 2 options to get ethernet

    1. from the belkin wireless G USB Network Adapter

    Problems;
    i cant instal any driver ore wil work also i have option 2

    2. i have a laptop whit windows vista i want to set a bridge whit a UTP cable from the lan port on the laptop to the lanport on my computer

    i cant get it right can someone help me please

    No one? please help me xD im now on the ethernet because i have a utp cable from the modem to the computer

    Forget bridging, it's not really the best way forward. I would get the Belkin USB working. Why can't you install that? If it's not supported natively, have you tried Vista drivers?

    There is not a driver yet for that wireless usb adapter, i have it myself. Tho you can get it working by installing the Vista driver. Secondly, why the bridge? what use is it for? if for transferring files, you would need a crossover cable for that.

    i need it for ethernet, and it wil work whit s UTP camble i have it home but i want ethernet here by are a frend
