    athrxusb.sys causing BSODs need help


    I've had 5 BSODs in the last 2 days. What I've changed on my computer is that I've switched from using Ethernet to a wireless adapter. BlueScreenView shows that athrxusb.sys was the likely culprit for all of the BSODs. That is the driver for my card. I have a Belkin Wireless G adapter F5D7050:

    I uninstalled my current drivers and installed the driver found here:

    I am still getting BSODs and it seems as though I am only getting them while download torrents and leaving my computer. I don't get them while I'm at my computer and I haven't noticed that I've gotten them while not downloading. I use uTorrent.

    Any suggestions?

    First, why dont you upload the DMP file to us for exam.

    The link to the driver is for the driver download so I cant look at its date, etc.

    Utottent does sometimes create BSOD's but I wont know till I look at the DMP. You might want to re-install uTorrent in the meantime.

    From what I read about your driver problem it seems that another program is installed with it called dropbox which has been known to cause BSOD's and other problems, expecially true when downloading torrents. So you should uninstall dropbox if you have it installed.
