Bizarre situation.. i want windows 2 forget my pasword.
Ok let me explain the situation. I have one main pc and one laptop. Both with win7. I originally had both of them setup in homegroup and it worked well. But today, because of my curious nature, i tried to change about some settings.
I removed myself from the homegroup. Then when i try to click on my main pc's name under network it asked for a username and password. I entered the user and password for for a certain user on the main pc (and foolishly clicked to remember forever), and now im in the network no problem. But the issue is now that i can access the personal documents of another user on that same pc! Previously when i was on homegroup i had it set up to only share the printer and i couldnt see any other docs.
When i join the homegroup now and set it up to only share printer i can still access all the other docs.
So how do i get it back to how it was? Im really stumped by this. Also windows credentials doesnt store the password either, only the homegroup one.
