    Wireless Laptop trouble

    Hello,
Don't know if this is the right place for this post. I'm running through a router. Main desktop pc plugged in with ethernet cable. My laptop connects wirelessly. No problems with this as both of these pcs run fast. We have a border who also has a laptop that connects wirelessly. When he gets home from work and starts his up, ours slow down to a crawl sometimes. Is there a way to control this? Our main pc is for work so slow speeds are not good. Thanks,
    John

No doubt he is the farthest away from the router. There are apps that let you limit (or throttle) he bandwidth, which may help with the limited resources.

    search google for them
