My internet connection drops and resumes after 10 sec
Hello!
I currently have a wired Broadband connection(PPoe connection) which drops at irregular intervals and resumes after 10 or so .. seconds I tried various "solutions" including registry modifications, commands in command prompt and so on , but with no result. - Happened on Vista and Now on Win 7 - Tried different network adapters - Scanned my PC with 3 different anti virus programs ..... No result ![]() Pls if anyone can help I would really appreciate. TY |

If you would be so kind to fill out your system specs which we see in the bottom left side of the screen we can begin to assist you in trouble shooting. Adrian |

First of all refresh your router, re enter all the settings and setup a good password if you already have a password try to change and use more complex password

There are less chance that IPv6 might be cause. try disabling it and see if it shows some effect. You can enable it back if there's no effect at all

Internet Drops out after USB Connection or Disconnection Hello, I am using a NETGEAR WN111v2 wireless adapter, whenever i connect or disconnect something into a USB port eg. Ipod Touch. It drops out and I then have to reconnect the Wireless adapter. I don't recall this happening on Windows XP |

My computer drops the internet connection... I've been having this problem since I bought this new computer a few weeks ago. It's a HP desktop, the model number is s5229uk and it's Windows 7 Home Premium.
